AM Broadcast Engineering

New and modified AM stations: daytime groundwave, nighttime skywave, and critical-hours protection, directional patterns, and frequency scans.

TV Broadcast Engineering

Full-power DTV, Class A, LPTV, and TV translator studies on channels 2–36: interference protection, contours, and facility changes.

How an engagement starts

  1. Define the objective. New filing, facility change, channel search, waiver, interference question, or coverage study.
  2. Review the technical record. Existing authorization, coordinates, antenna data, FCC records, nearby facilities, and proposed parameters.
  3. Deliver the study or filing support. Results are organized around the decision or application being prepared.

Nexus Broadcast provides technical and filing support. Nexus Broadcast is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice.

Studies run on our own engineering software

Every study we prepare is run on RF Navigator, the broadcast engineering software Nexus Broadcast builds and maintains. The same tools cover FM translators, LPFM stations and second-adjacent waivers, full-power FM, AM, and TV — working from current FCC data and producing the engineering exhibits directly from the completed study.

That means the numbers in your exhibit come from the same calculation you were shown, and a changed site or antenna can be re-studied without starting over.

Website design and hosting

Custom websites for radio stations and for local businesses that have never been near a transmitter — designed, built, and hosted on our own servers. Three tiers starting at $300, with the first year of hosting, SSL and backups included.

Stream players, song requests, show schedules, business directories, online stores and booking systems — built to order rather than bolted on.
