FCC Broadcast Engineering & Filing Support

Accurate applications begin with accurate technical data. Nexus Broadcast helps applicants and licensees prepare the engineering portions of FM, LPFM, and translator filings.

Technical application support

Services can begin before an application is opened in the FCC Licensing and Management System or after an applicant discovers that additional engineering analysis is required.

  • Review of existing FCC facility records and authorizations
  • Proposed coordinates, ERP, HAAT, antenna, and channel parameters
  • Engineering exhibits and supporting technical statements
  • Construction permit and modification filing support
  • Technical amendments and responses to engineering questions
  • Coordination of technical information with the applicant or communications counsel

Services covered

Current work is focused on FM broadcast, Low Power FM, FM translators, and related technical studies. Each filing is evaluated according to the service involved and the current FCC requirements applicable to that proposal.

What to provide

For an initial review, send the call sign or facility ID when one exists, the proposed site coordinates, desired channel or frequency, antenna information, proposed power, and a clear description of the requested change.

Technical support is not legal representation

Nexus Broadcast is a technical, filing, and consulting service. It is not a law firm and does not provide legal services or legal advice. Applicants should consult qualified communications counsel when legal interpretation or representation is required.
