Channel research

Broadcast Frequency Search Services

Structured frequency research for FM, LPFM, and translator projects using current FCC facility data and proposal-specific technical parameters.

Searches built around the proposed facility

Results depend on more than the city name. A meaningful search uses the proposed coordinates, service type, antenna height, power, nearby stations and applications, and the operational goal of the project.

  • FM translator candidate channels
  • LPFM channel research
  • Existing facility and application review
  • Candidate site comparisons
  • Preliminary technical screening
  • Identification of issues requiring deeper study

What a search does not guarantee

A preliminary candidate is not automatically a grantable application. Spectrum conditions, pending filings, technical rules, and filing-window requirements can change. Results should be reviewed again when a filing is prepared.

Software-assisted, engineer-reviewed

Nexus Broadcast uses purpose-built data and software tools to organize the search, then applies engineering review to the candidates and limitations that matter.
